Course Description
As lithium-ion battery-powered devices become increasingly common in homes, fire investigators are encountering a growing number of incidents involving battery failures, thermal runaway events, and fires originating from consumer electronics, e-bikes, e-scooters, power tools, and energy storage systems. This specialized course from Junk Yard Dog Extrication Training provides fire investigators with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, investigate, and document residential fires involving lithium-ion batteries.
